Iridia sweater
Iridia sweater is an oversized sweater which will get your fantasy and the joy of knitting going. It is knitted with 3 strands of yarn and you will get some beautiful color transitions, by changing color in your Silk Mohair. You can use your Silk Mohair stash and left overs as short as 15-25 meters / 20-30 yarns. The more colors you use, the deeper and more inspirering color palet you will get. The sweater is knitted top down, with a special kind of raglan increases, which gives you a good fit. You can easily adjust the length on the body and sleeves. Read the section about colors and make a swatch, to familiarize yourself with the color changes, before you cast on to the sweater. The fit is oversize with a 15-20 cm/6-8 inches ease, the length is cropped.

Materiales
You need approx. (750)790(825)870(900)960(1020) meters or (820)865(900)950(985)1050(1120) yards of each of the three qualities A, B and C.

The yarn kit includes Color A and B
A: Önling No. 12, 55% Wool og 45% Cotton, 800 m pr. 115 g.
Color A: 2 cones in different colors.

B. Önling No. 20, 100 % Shetland wool, 225 m pr. 50 g. Color A: 5 x 50 g in different colors.

You need to find Color C in you stash. All types of Silk Mohair approx. 210 m pr. 25 g can be used.

Color C: Önling No. 10, 70% Mohair, 30% Silke, 210 m pr. 25 g.

You need a min. of (90)94(98)104(108)114(122) gram. However you can dig out alot more from your stash.

Recommended circular and double-pointed needles size 5 and 6 mm / US 8 and 10.

Gauge
16 sts x 20 rows/rounds of stockinette on needle size 3½ mm / US 4 = 10 x 10 cm / 4x4 inches.

Procedure
The sweater is worked in the round from the top down. Stitches are cast on using the provisional, crochet cast-on method to allow adjusting the size of the neck opening before working the neck hem. Short rows are worked over shoulders and back of the neck to make the back of the neck higher. The yoke is worked with increases, and the yoke stitches are then divided into body and sleeves, which are finished separately. The body is longer in the back, shaped by shortrows. You try on the sweater and the neck hem is knitted.
