Worked top down from a garter stitch tab, this easy to follow pattern has just enough going on to keep a knitter’s interest without presenting challenge.

Increased stitches are cleverly incorporated into the textured pattern so that they can’t be seen and the gentle central spine eyelets create a slight crescent shape which gently hugs your shoulders in wear.

The project grows quickly on US 10 needles and can be worked out of just two 100gm skeins of this lovely worsted weight alpaca/Cheviot blend yarn, producing a surprisingly large hap which is pretty without being fussy.

The pattern is designed to be printed on both sides of a single A4 sheet of paper which can then be folded to produce a handy leaflet for your project bag. Short and easy to follow, it includes a border chart to support the written instructions.
