The Invernal Cowl is covered in cables that twist to the left from the bottom to the top of the cowl. The cowl is worked in the round from the bottom up and uses two left cross cables and one additional cable that crosses the beginning of the round. It’s a perfect one skein project to keep you warm this winter.

The pattern has been test knit and tech edited.

Sizes:

• Adjustable
• Small circumference cowl: 23.5” / 60.5 cm circumference and 12.25” / 31 cm tall after blocking
• Large circumference cowl: 36” / 91.5 cm circumference and 6.25” / 16 cm tall after blocking

Yardage:

• Small circumference cowl: 285 y / 261 m
• Large circumference cowl: 235 y / 215 m

Level: Intermediate
The pattern includes two basic left cross cables and one special left cross cable that occurs over the beginning of the round.

Materials:

• Worsted weight yarn or yarn of another weight with needles to match
• Size US 8/5.00 mm 16” or 24” circular needle
• Size US 6/4.00 mm 16” or 24” circular needle
• Yarn needle
• Cable needle
• Stitch markers, including a unique marker for beginning of round
