Pattern available in English and Italian

“Interrotto” is a sweater worked top down in the round, in one piece with almost no seaming. Starting from the neckline, the stitches are mounted using a provisional cast-on. The yoke is knit in two colors using the stranded method.
The sleeves and the body are divided at the underarms and the three sections are completed separately.
The pattern used for the yoke is repeated on the borders of the sweater and of the short sleeves. The borders are knit in twisted rib stitch.
To complete the sweater, the stitches of the neckline are picked up to knit a twisted rib border.

Circular needle:
size 3 mm – US 2.5 with 40, 60 and 80 cm – 16”, 24” and 32” cable.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Gauge:
20 sts and 34 rounds = 10 cm – 4” in st st (worked in the round, after blocking)

Pattern disponibile in italiano ed inglese

“Interrotto” è un maglione realizzato in tondo dall’alto verso il basso in un unico pezzo (quasi) senza cuciture.
Si incomincia dallo scollo, montando le maglie con un avvio provvisorio, lo sprone è lavorato a due colori con i fili passati (“stranded” in inglese).
Le maniche e il corpo vengono divisi in corrispondenza delle ascelle e i tre pezzi vengono terminati separatamente.
I motivi dello sprone vengono ripetuti anche sul bordo del corpo e delle maniche corte, i bordi sono lavorati a coste ritorte.
Alla fine si riprendono le maglie dello scollo e si lavora il bordo a coste ritorte.
