This mosaic knit wrap is worked in two colors – the yarn an ultra-soft and luxurious blend of cashmere, mink, and fine wool. The wrap is called ‘Interlinks’ and takes its inspiration from a maze illustration in The Book of the Thousand Nights and One Night (1894). I created the design modifying and integrating stitch patterns found in Barbara Walker’s Mosaic Knitting – which I consider a treasury for mosaic motifs. I would consider this an appropriate project for advanced beginners, who have some experience in mosaic knitting.

The yarn:
Lotus Yarns MIMI, 37% Angora, 12% Wool, 33% Viscose fiber, 18% Cashmere, 328 yards (300 meters), 50 grams (1.76 ounces): 1 skein each #63 (Color A) and #35 (Color B) Optional: a couple of yards/meters of a similar weight yarn in a contrasting color to decorate select rows with duplicate stitch - I used some #14 left over from another project.
