This is a PDF knit pattern to make a knit version of my Chain Link Slouch crochet pattern with 4 different weights of yarn (light bulky, bulky, light super bulky, super bulky). For a similar look, see my Entangled Beanie knit pattern for a coordinating design in smaller 2-stitch cables.

Light Bulky Knitting Needles: 

US #6 (4 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needle, or size needed to obtain gauge 

US #9 (5.5 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needle 


Bulky Knitting Needles:

US #7 (4.5 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needle, or size needed to obtain gauge 

US #10.5 (6.5 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needle 


Light Super Bulky Knitting Needles:
US #10.5 (6.5 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needle, or size needed to obtain gauge 

US #13 (9 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needle 


Super Bulky Knitting Needles: 

US #10.75 (7 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needle, or size needed to obtain gauge 

US #13 (9 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needle 

US #15 (10 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needle 


ALL VERSIONS: A set of DPNs or Shorties in size used for body (or use magic loop method)

Knit Skill Level: Intermediate (lots of cables)
