InterCoastal Socks
Like cruising the Inter Coastal Water Way (the protected series of bays and rivers connected by man-made channels along the East Coast and Gulf of Mexico) these socks are beautiful to look at and easy to work while still keeping your interest.
Inter Coastal Socks are knitted from the top down with traditional heels and toes. Faux Cable accents run down side of leg starting in the Cuff and split at Heel with one set running down Heel Flap and the other running down foot and onto the Toe.
An easy to memorize one row lace panel is worked down the front of the Leg onto the Foot ending at the Toe; and at the back of the Leg ending at the Heel Flap.
Designed with a relatively heavy weight sock yarn a Child’s Medium could be achieved by working size small in a finer sock yarn. Consider working a larger size to achieve fit with finer sock yarns.
