This is a quick, gratifying knit that makes a great last minute gift or a luxurious indulgence for yourself. This thick, squishy fabric feels soft and warm against the skin.

The cowl and hat use 1 skein each of bulky weight yarn. A simple two row pattern repeat makes this a great beginner project, an ideal last minute knit or a quick stash buster for more experienced knitters.

The brim of the child sized hat measures 10 inches/ 20 centimetres when stretched slightly and stretches to 19 inches/ 48 centimetres. The brim of the teen/adult sized hat measures 16 inches/ centimetres when stretched slightly and stretches to 25 inches/ 56 centimetres.
