Innie Outie Hat
As a child, my mother would knit reversible mohair hats for me and my siblings every winter. My favorite was a neon multicolor and black combination that I’m pretty sure I lost at the mall in my teens (sorry, Mom!). This design is inspired by those toasty hats but is made in sport weight wool instead – way less fuzzy but still just as warm with a double-thickness of cozy stockinette. Whether you’ve got a sports fan on your knit list or a Jekyll & Hyde toddler or teen, this hat has endless color, yarn, and sizing possibilities. Totally reversible and totally fun, the Innie Outie Hat is a winner in winter: from my family to yours!
Construction Details
The Innie Outie Hat is made in one piece beginning at the center of the hat where the colors meet.
