Infinitely Grateful
A lightweight and airy accessory to wear all in front as a scarf, over shoulders for a little warmth in air conditioning or a chilly breeze, or wrapped twice around neck for extra warmth. Think of it as a gentle hug with subtle bling from a few beads.
I designed this infinity scarf to send to someone as an expression of my gratefulness for her efforts in the fight against COVID-19. Hence, the name Infinitely Grateful.
A lovely gift for a special person, this would also be a fun project for a KAL! Not too heavy for summer knitting.
Size: Before blocking = 11” high x 17” wide.
After blocking = 16” h. x 21” w. (42” around).
Gauge: approximately 17 sts & 25 rnds: 4” in garter stitch. Exact gauge is not critical to design or yarn quantity -- 360 yds. is plenty if using sport weight yarn and size 7 needles on 136 sts.
The pattern includes easy to follow line-by-line instructions for the design as well as instructions for placing beads with a dental floss threader or a small steel crochet hook. Cast-on, joining, and Bind-off instructions are also detailed. (Beads are optional and can simply be omitted without changing the pattern design).
