These super fun crocheted snowballs make for loads of winter fun without the cold!

Crochet snowballs in 3 sizes with two popular chenille yarn suggestions for a quick and easy indoor snowball fight kit.

The Jumbo snowball is made with Mainstays Chenille chunky yarn and a Q 15.75mm crochet hook. They work up lightning quick, and you get 5 (and a half) snowballs from one skein.

The Small and Medium snowballs are made with Bernat Blanket yarn, and the L 8mm crochet hook. They’re also fairly quick to make, and you get a generous 12 (and a half) snowballs from one 10.5 oz/300 g ball of yarn.

The smaller sizes do require stuffing to maintain their shape and have enough weight for throwing. You can use polyfil, or for a machine wash friendly alternative, try using some worn out old socks!
