This is not a pattern, but a technique tutorial for creating vertical and horizontal stripes with a 1x1 rib. It does not say how many stitches to cast on, what needles or yarn to use, or what to make with the technique.

To reiterate my comment at the bottom of pattern, I am aware that there exist other Projects and Patterns that use this technique. I have not read or learned the technique from any other person or source. I once saw a FO and knew just by looking what techniques I would use to create that. Other people asked me to share my technique, so I have.
