It seems everyone wants a traditional scarf but they can be boring to knit, so this was my way of still having fun while making what my recipients want.

Yes the rows are long, but turning is the fiddly bit so you just get lots of relaxing knit action.

I was weighing up various names, but after I’d seen the brilliant and charming In the Long Run by Idris Elba there was only one choice !!! ☻

Lots of options for this:

• use one striping yarn
• alternate two yarns
• use one MC and lots of leftovers
• have neat edges or make fringes

Can be made in any weight - allow AT LEAST 450m in total.
