Don’t we all need a bit of love in our lives? The In My Heart shawl has lots of hearts to make your day bright and cheerful! And maybe not just your day, because this shawl would make a beautiful gift or prayer shawl.

The hearts are made with twist stitches and decreases. Fair warning, making these little hearts is really addictive!

This shawl is knitted from side to side, with a new heart panel added with every repeat. The heart motifs switch direction once you’ve reached the middle to make it look as if the shawl was knitted from the middle outwards. A middle section of ring motifs separates the two halves.

Length can be adjusted easily, depending on how much yarn you have, by working more or fewer repeats before starting the decrease section.
