In Memoriam was the first pattern of Sukka-Finlandia sock knitting competition. The design honours the memory of those who fought for independent Finland in WWI and WWII. For those men and women we celebrated the centennial of independent Finland on the 6th of December, 2017.

Pattern features:

• knitted cuff down

• instructions written for magic loop but dpns can be used as well

• instructions written in metric and US terminology

• three sizes: small (64 sts), medium (72 sts) and large (80 sts)

• pin-striped heel back extension followed by a wide heel turn

• charts but no written instructions for the stranded colourwork
