Our Dolce kitty is a tortoiseshell with a big attitude. She adventures all day long outside, climbing tree trunks and slinking through tall grass!

How do you commemorate such a kitty? This plumpy scarf/wrap filled with deep texture, reversible cables, and a little garter strip of kitty footprints zipping all the way across! Dolce demanded cables so I created a fully reversible scarf/wrap to appeal to both of us.

I love reversible cables for any pattern where the wrong side can be easily seen since I am not fond of the look of the wrong side of cables. To complete the reversible quality of this piece, I also used double moss stitch and garter stitch with a simple eyelet lace.

This piece can be widened easily by increasing the number of stitches in the double moss stitch section and lengthened by simply adding repeats of the stitch pattern. If you choose to widen or lengthen the piece, make sure to obtain more yarn than the pattern requires.

Wear this piece slung around your neck or draped across your shoulders without the worry of flipping wrong side out.
