Use this crochet pattern to make a crochet slouch hat that is a great scrap buster and great for playing with color! This hat pattern is written to fit an average adult.

This pattern is an intermediate level crochet pattern. The abbreviations used in this pattern include: ch, sl st, BLO, SC, HDC, HDC2Tog, DC, Tr, and Tr spike.

This pattern requires approx. 170 yds. of Vanna’s Choice yarn (’Aquamarine’ and ‘Linen’ colorways pictured) or a similar category 4 yarn. If you substitute a different yarn please check your gauge to make sure the hat will fit. You will also need a 5.5mm crochet hook and an optional large pom pom maker.
