This fun doorstop speaks of joyful summer days.
It’s based on a classic campervan, one of the most popular designs I’ve published.

This uses colours that will bring memories of traditional British seaside holidays. But why not customise your version with your favourite summer colours?  Or make one for a friend, in their favourite colours?

The pattern is written in UK crochet terms. It has a fully written pattern and notes on making.


Any DK weight yarn will work well. I would suggest using a 2.5mm x 3mm hook

This pattern combines simple double crochet with basic sewing techniques. The pattern also includes some graph schematic diagrams to help you with the colour changes. You could personalize the van by embroidering the initials of the recipient onto the license plate.
