Ice Cream Princess Rocky Road Square
Rocky Road Square is a part of the knitted Ice Cream Princess series and the third square of Ice Cream Princess Blanket KAL https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/ice-cream-prince...
Rocky Road is decorated with wide braids crossing the square, one “road” on each side of the square. It gives you more the pleasure of different stitches than the previous parts but you won’t get lost because all the new stitches are shown also on a video.
Squares are knitted in rounds starting from the middle. Bind off (and join to other squares) with a crochet hook.
This guide includes written instructions and a chart for this square, and video tutorials for any tricky parts or new stitches.
I prefer the whole KAL project which is available as Ice Cream Princes Blanket design here on Ravelry or as a bundle on Arteeni webstore. the KAL includes all the general information about materials and tools, substitute yarns, layout ideas, joining instructions (joined by crochet), and finishing techniques for your project, as well as all the five different squares, half square and the border. You’ll find it on Ravelry: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/ice-cream-prince... OR Arteeni: https://arteeni.fi/en/products/icp-blanket-kal
As a standalone project any yarn will do. The whole Ice Cream Princess blanket is knitted of Lankava Lempi with 6 mm needles and one square takes about 55 meters of the yarn - square diameter is about 28 cm.
