Things you need to know:
+Using single and double crochet stitches
+Increasing and decreasing
+Hand stitching and weaving in ends
+Crocheting in the round with a magic ring
+Switching colors
+Crocheting in the back and front loops
+Shell stitch (crochet 3 times into a single stitch and sl st in next st)

Supplies:
+Worsted/Medium weight acrylic or cotton yarn
1 ball of pink or color of your choice for the ice cream top and 1 ball of camel/tan color for the cone
+Tapestry needle
+Yarn needle threader
+Stitch markers for counting
+Scissors
+Size H (5mm) crochet hook

Finished Size: About 4” x 4” at the widest point
