I have been fortunate to attend the Virginia Beach Yarn Getaway retreat the last 2 winters. Looking out on the winter beach scene fills a knitter with a sense of wonder and beauty, but winter in Virginia can be cold and windy, so having a little poncho for your shoulders like this one is just the thing. Hence, Pontini! The colorful yoke design on this poncho evokes beautiful stranded colorwork but is really simple-to-knit stripes with stacking increases and decreases, making it perfect for knitting away the hours at a retreat, at home in your pajamas or out with your local knitting group.
