I Love A Theme Fingerless Mitts
I Love A Theme Fingerless Mitts feature a simple rib and minimal lace pattern, and long cuff to keep out the wind in winter. They were designed to use up my leftover Lyra gradient set from a cardigan sample, using the same lace… I named them for my friend Dorothy, who loves a theme. There are a matching hat and cowl also available.
Finished Size: Cuff and hand 5” unstretched, up to 9” stretched.
Yarn: Space Cadet Lyra, 100% Superwash Merino, 270 yards/100g. Sample knit in Perilous linking sweater set colorway. Sample used 150 yards divided between 5 different colors.
Needles: Set of 5 double-pointed needles or 16” circular needles, size 5 US (3.75 mm), or size to obtain gauge
Gauge: 20 stitches/28 rows per 4” in blocked stockinette, knit in the round.
