“Hydrangea” is a very elegant shawl knit in a single piece.
It is worked top down and then the stitches are cast on for a border which is knit horizontally with respect to the shawl.
The lace used for the border brings to mind the tiny petals of the Hydrangea flower. It is simple to knit, but never boring!

Finished measurements:
186 cm – 73 ¼ inches along the longer edge and 51 cm – 20 inches along the center section (after blocking).

Yarn and needles:
WOOLLISA Hidrangea Collection (51% silk, 29% merino, 20% seacell: 675 m – 739 yd / 150 gr – 5.30 oz. skein); 1 skein (675 m – 739 yd).
Circular needles:
4 mm – US 6 with a 80 cm – 32 inches cable.
If necessary, please adjust needle size to obtain the specified gauge.
Other:
Tapestry needle.
Pins and a tape measure for blocking.

Gauge:
15 sts and 32 rows = 10 cm – 4” in garter st (after blocking).

“Hydrangea” è uno scialle molto elegante realizzato in un unico pezzo.
È lavorato partendo dall’alto, poi, per il bordo, si montano le maglie necessarie e si lavora orizzontalmente rispetto allo scialle stesso.
Il pizzo che decora il bordo si ispira ai piccoli petali dell’Hydrangea ed è molto semplice da realizzare ma non noioso!

Misure finite:
186 cm lungo il lato più lungo e 51 cm lungo la parte centrale (dopo il bloccaggio).

Filato ed aghi:
WOOLLISA Hidrangea Collection (51% seta, 29% lana merino, 20% seacell: 675 m per matassa da 150 gr); 1 matassa (675 m).
Ferri circolari:
numero 4 mm con cavo lungo 80 cm.
Se necessario modificare il numero degli aghi per ottenere il campione corretto.
Other:
Ago da tappezzeria.
Spilli e metro da sarta per il bloccaggio.

Campione:
15 m x 32 ferri = 10 cm lavorati a maglia legaccio (dopo il bloccaggio).
