This clever little toy balances himself just as easily on the edge of a table or the arm of a chair as on a wall.

Knit entirely in garter stitch.

MATERIALS:

• 2 1/2 ounces of wool in royal blue
• 1/2 ounce of wool in white
• 1 1/2 ounces of wool in pale pink
• Two steel knitting needles No. 11 (approximately modern US 2.5)
• Two discs of white calico 2 inches in diameter for eyes
