Humphrey is worked back and forth from the bottom up to the armholes. The front and back are then divided along the garter stitch seam for the armhole division. The fronts and back are worked separately then joined together at the shoulders using a three-needle bind off. Decreases are worked at the fronts to create a slight v-neck and the garter edge is worked around the back neck to create the collar.
