Huldusokkar is part of my Icelandic yarn Club 5 and for the moment it is not available as a single pattern.

The Huldusokkar (hidden socks) are true winter socks and hold a few hidden “secrets” to make them as comfortable as they are beautiful and esthetically delicate, despite being knitted with a relatively thick yarn.
In that, they are by essence Icelandic and echo our traditional socks where comfort and fit were crucial.
The socks are knitted from the toe up.
The round toe is made of evenly spaced increases with no texture that could irritate the toes.
The no hole short rows heel (often named Fleegle after the knitter who unvented it in 2006) is deceptively simple. This type of heel however can make the sock difficult to put on for people who have high arches. But not the Huldusokkar! The beautiful - and elastic - lace pattern on the arch will give it all the ease you need!
The motif is then repeated around the leg, and again, its elasticity will adapt to any leg and prevent any unhealthy constriction of the blood flow. A true lace motif, but an easy and intuitive one, it has a striking three-dimensional texture when left unstretched.
