Cables are the quintessential knitting technique. This baby afghan features a delicate mixture of zig zag and X-O cables, as well as simple stitches, like the garter stitch, for an heirloom quality design.

This pattern is suitable for intermediate to advanced knitters who are familiar with cabling.

The finished afghan is made with a variegated blue, purple, green, yellow and white yarn and is machine washable and dryable. It measures approximately 38 inches wide x 42 inches long.
