Hugo is a happy, plump little guy. His body is knit with a simple Stockinette Stitch square that uses intarsia to create a center fur portion for his back. The only other pieces needed are two ears. His adorable face is embroidered after assembly.

Like all animals in this book, Hugo can be knit at any gauge for the desired size. Need it oversized? Use bulky or jumbo yarn. Need it tiny? Try a finer weight. It’s as simple as that.
