"Deena wanted to make a blanket for a close friend’s bridal shower.  She wanted to hear ooh and aahs when her gift was opened and she wanted a gift that looked complicated but would actually be fun and easy to knit.  This throw met all her criteria, a simple stockinette blanket with asymmetrical striping.  It’s made in three strips so it’s easier to work on and carry around, and it’s a blast to make.  And by the way, Deena definitely got her oohs and aahs!  So will you."
