Horseshoe Bay is a beautiful triangular shawl featuring a very graphic “horseshoe” lace pattern and a cozy garter stitch border. It is knit from the bottom up in one piece. The size of the shawl is easily customized by knitting more (or fewer) pattern repeats. The pattern includes clear charts and written instructions.

You will need approximately 640-750 metres/700-825 yards of DK yarn (shown here in Doveston DK from baa ram ewe, colorway Wesley Bob)

A 4.5 mm/US 7 circular needle

Tapestry needle, stitch markers

Finished size: 203 cm/80” wide x 76 cm/30” deep (after blocking)

Gauge: 22 sts and 28 rows = 4”/10 cm in St st on 4.5 mm/US 7 needle (after blocking)

Horseshoe Bay est un châle triangulaire magnifique composé de dentelle en motif de fer à cheval et une bordure douillette au point mousse. Le châle est tricoté du bas vers le haut en un seul morceau. Les dimensions du châle sont facilement modifiables en tricotant plus (ou moins) de répétitions du motif. Le patron comprend des grilles claires et des explications écrites.
