The cuff is made from two strands of Curly from Go Handmade (hobbii.com/curly). It is very soft and the look is exactly what I had in mind when I started looking for the yarn for the cuffs. The body of the mittens is knitted with Kambgarn from Istex (alafoss.is). I mostly use Kambgarn for my mittens. It is soft and warm and a delight to knit with.

The mittens are worked in the round from bottom to top using 5 double pointed needles, followed by knitting the thumb using 4 double pointed needles.

Begin with needles US 2.5 (3 mm) for all sizes and knit the cuff. Continue knitting the body of the mittens pattern with the same needle size for size large, US 2 (2.75 mm) for size medium and US 1.5 (2.5 mm) for size small. For a par of mittens, you need one skein of each color of Istex Kambgarn and one skein of curly from Go Handmade.

Stroffið er prjónað með tveimur þráðum af Curly frá Go Handmade á prjóna nr 3. Curly er mjög mjúkt og útkoman er einmitt það sem ég hafði séð fyrir mér, loðið og lifandi.
Eftir stroff eru vettlingarnir prjónaðir með tveimur litum af Kambgarni á 5 prjóna nr 2.5 fyri stærð small, 2.75 fyrir stærð medium og á stærð 3 fyrir stærð large.

Fyrir eitt par af vettlingum þarf eina dokku af hvorum lit af Kambgarni og eina dokku af Curly.
