Hoopla Bowl Bag
A very easy bag that should need just one bobbin of Hooplayarn (although I know some people have needed slightly more). The pattern is designed for absolute beginners and is broken down further than a usual crochet pattern so that it is ultra simple to follow.
Created in a deep colour this bag is very neat and stylish but it can easily be jazzed up for a more fun look with brighter colours or stripes.
Hooplayarn is a very idiosyncratic yarn. It does not have a set gauge and the gauge can even vary on the same bobbin so you need to be prepared to experiment. For instance, what worked on a 10mm hook for me might be very tight or very loose for you. I made this bag on an 8mm hook but I usually recommend a 10mm hook to anyone who asks me about Hoopla - this seems to be the average size needed.
Hoopla makes up very quickly and this is a one evening project. Start today; shop tomorrow!
