The rocks and cliffs on the California coastline that have been weathered to resemble honeycombs inspired the texture for this purse. It turned out to be perfect for gathering yellow rocks and pieces of abalone shells.

It’s worked in the round at first, then grafted together at the bottom with kitchner stitch. Tie it with an I-cord woven through holes made in the ribbing.
