This pattern is made in join-as-you-go rounds. Work the first Hexi Motif as instructed, and all subsequent hexi motifs by joining in as many corners as required. The colour order is random; as you join motifs together, make sure to not join two motifs of the same colour.
The cowl is made up of 12 columns of 5 hexi motifs joined next to each other, the last column is joined to the first.

One motif measures 6cm from opposite sides and 7cm from opposite corners.
