This everyday cardigan is worked from the top down, beginning with the yoke at the neck edge. The yoke has increases worked as a raglan down to the underarm, where the body and sleeves are separated. The sleeve stitches are held while the body is knit down to the hem. Then the sleeve stitches are worked in the round down to the cuff. Stitches for the button bands are picked up and knitted once the sweater is completed.
