The simple patterning of on these socks makes an arrow-like motif meant to point you in the right direction! These adventurous beginner socks come with both written and charted instructions, 3 sizes, and my Short Cut Heel, a heel construction with no short rows!

The easy texture and lace motif is an 8 row repeat. As you lose yourself in the methodical decreases and yarn overs, think about the next steps you want to take to get where you want to be. Follow your yarn to be Homeward Bound.

Pattern Notes:

Yarn/Yardage: Sample was knit with Knit Picks Hawthorne (80% fine super wash merino wool, 20% nylon, 462 yards per 100 grams). Any fingering weight yarn approximately 50 (60, 70) grams will be enough for one pair. Yardage may vary depending on gauge, size, and yarn choices.

Needles: 32-40 inch / 80-102 centimeters circular needle for magic loop in size US 2 (2.75mm), or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: 32 stitches and 56 rounds over 4 inches / 10 centimeters in stockinette stitch after blocking.

Notions: Scissors, yarn needle

Sizes: There are 3 sizes in the pattern and the differing instructions for each are written as 1 (2, 3). Each size will give you a foot circumference measuring 7, (8, 9) inches / 18, (20, 23) centimeters.
