The pattern is a collection, of three DK weight cuff down socks, inspired by the Homestead. Each design is squishy, cozy, and fun! The techniques are adventurous beginner level and each design has been created to be easily remembered for an intuitive, engaging and rewarding knitting experience.

I’ve used an beautiful DK weight yarn from Sweet Pea and Sparrow

There are three designs included!

Sourdough Socks
Super easy 12-rnd pattern repeat, with only one cable rnd, make these a great choice for first cable socks. I love a simple large repeat; it makes for speedy socks!

Root Cellar Socks
Fun, purl free cables perfect for more busy or dark skeins. This stitch pattern is for when you want something just a bit more than plain vanilla. Definitely one of those patterns that you’ll find yourself saying “just one more repeat”…until suddenly your sock is finished!

Fresh Herbs Socks
Delightful texture for those who love a ribbed sock! The most engaging of the three, with some fun new techniques to try out. This 4-rnd stitch pattern rep is memorized quickly making for fun fast socks.

All three designs come with a heel flap and gusset heel construction, 5 sizes, and tons of tutorial videos incase you need a refresher on any technique used.

Skills Required
Tubular or German Twisted Cast On, working in the round, knit, purl, slipping stitches, increasing, decreasing, cable knitting, reading charts, kitchener stitch.
