Leaves, berries and cozy cabled ribs decorate Sasha Kagan’s woman’s socks. Tweedy yarns and chenille bobble berries add to the textural appeal.

While the intarsia is in progress, you work the sock back and forth rather than in the round. I recommend having the seam along the back for the ankle part of the sock and along the side for the foot part of the sock.

Intarsia is a great way to use up those partial skeins in your stash, and one can use this pattern with a different intarsia chart pattern if they wish.

Yarn:
Rowan Donegal Lambswool: 75 g in bay green, 25 g in cinnamon and grey
Rowan Lightweight DK: 25 g in medium green
Rowan Fine Cotton Chenille: 50 g in red

NOTE: Pattern references two sizes, but only one set of directions is included in the book.
