Holly Golightly Cardi
For those days when you just feel like having your Breakfast at Tiffany’s and you need that favorite cardigan to see you through! This cardigan has it all- classy, yet relaxed fit, dainty diamond details, fitted shoulders, and striped sleeves that let the yarn do the heavy work.
Pattern Notes
Finished Cardigan is meant to be worn open, with roughly 1-3” of positive ease, so when choosing a size, it is recommended that you pick one that is one size larger than your chest size (so, for example, if you have a 35” bust, you should choose the 38” size). This piece is worked seamlessly from the top down, first the back panel to the underarms, then the front pieces to the underarms, then all three pieces are joined and worked flat to the desired body length (which can be adjusted according to your preference). This cardigan features an open Diamond Eyelet lace pattern over the back and a simple Diamond Lace pattern on each front. You do not have to work the lace patterns into any shaping increases; once you are set up for working the lace, you will continue to do so as established throughout the rest of the body. The sleeves are worked in a seamless set-in construction, and are knit in the Hand Dipped skein of The Fiber Seed yarn to achieve the effortless stripes!
