Super comfy mitts are knitted with beautiful Star stitches.
The sample is knitted with 2 contrasting colors, but one solid color (Snow white would be so pretty!) or self striping yarn would also make stunning fabric.

Star stitch requires P3tog from WS, so these mitts are designed to knit in flat, then seamed and knitted cute garter sts thumb.

YARN & NEEDLES

• Light worsted or DK (US #4 or 5)- Women’s small
• Medium worsted (US #5 or 6) - Women’s medium
• Heavy worsted (US #6 or 7) - Women’s large / Men’s medium

The sample is knitted with Malabrigo Rios for Women’s medium size.

I recommend to use smoother, tighter plied yarn and sharp pointed needles for working Star stitch.

Needle sizes are recommended sizes. If you are a tighter or looser knitter, please adjust the needle size.
