Holiday Flair
I recently posted a photo of a cowl with a flared bottom on social media and asked for feedback: it was unanimous from the knitters who responded that the flare should be added to my cowl designs. Here is the first – of I’m sure many to come. The motifs are traditionally Shetland as is the yarn: the colors were chosen to create a holiday feel. I hope you enjoy knitting it.
I used seven colorways of Jamieson’s Spindrift for this cowl:
#615 Hyacinth (Color A); #526 Spice (Color B); #261 Paprika (Color C); #122 Granite (Color D); #243 Storm (Color E); #829 Aqua (Color F); and #315 Heron (Color G)
Color F as shown is a Jamieson and Smith colorway (#75) – but #829 Aqua is a close substitute for anyone who wishes to order from only one supplier.*
