The following pattern has been written using US terms and uses different techniques: some lacy stitches, filet crochet etc.
Beg CH1 of each round doesn’t count as ST unless otherwise specified.
For this project I used a cotton yarn, held together with a strand of fluffy yarn that adds softness and volume, but you can choose whatever yarn you prefer! For the whole pattern, I will only indicate when to change the cotton yarn color, since the second strand is very subjective: I initially thought about using same shade for both strands, but then decided to mix them: feel free to do the same or not, to use just one color for the second strand, whatever you prefer!
The final measurements of the shawl should be around 220 x 52 cm, including the pointy hat, if you have used the indicated hook size and type of yarn.
You will also find a printable version that might be helpful and a chart for the filet crochet.
The following SECTIONS order is my idea for this shawl, you can also choose to alter it completely, as the
different SECTIONS are very adaptable to personal preference.
If you need to alter size: to get a longer or shorter shawl, you can repeat more or less times one or some of the sections. Unfortunately, since we have a chart for the filet crochet, I wouldn’t recommend altering the shawl’s width.
