Hobbit Door Hanger
by Laurie Sand
As autumn rolls around, I like to think of my home as my own little hobbit hole, with comfortable chairs in front of a blazing fire, hot tea in the pot, and plenty of nice things to eat. This filet crochet door hanger includes the message “Home Sweet Hole”, a small round door pendant (all hobbit holes have round doors, of course), a handmade tassel with a crocheted overskirt and a key pendant for locking up your hobbit hole when you, too, must go on an unexpected journey. The size 3 crochet cotton in this project works up quickly while retaining the delicacy of the filet crochet. It makes for a great housewarming gift.
