Meet Hipponormous, a big, cuddly friend from Africa. Its head and body are worked seamlessly using short-row shaping for contours. Work the arms, legs, ears, and tail separately and stuff them before attaching them to the body. Suitable for all ages.

Finished Size 15” tall to tip of ear and 22” circumference at belly.
Yarn Bergère de France Duvetine (73% acrylic, 19% polyamide, 8% polyester; 76 yd 70 m/1 ¾ oz 50 g): #29104 tourterelle, 4 skeins.
Needles Size 10 ½ (6.5 mm): 16” circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); tapestry needle; polyester fiberfill; small amounts of bulkyweight yarn in black and white.
Gauge 13 sts and 18 rnds = 4” in St st with 2 strands held tog.
