Crochet Hippo Lovey Pattern

This Hippo Lovey is the perfect cuddling companion for little ones! The pattern is beginner-friendly with lots of description and photos, but is also enjoyable for more experienced crocheters. Finished size: When complete, this hippo lovey is about 12 inches tall from the top of head to the bottom of blanket. When the blanket is laid flat, it is about 16 inches wide. Note that your finished size might change with yarn, hook, and tension variations.

Materials:
• Worsted #4 weight yarn
• 5.5mm hook for the lovey blanket and a 3.5mm hook for the amigurumi parts
• Poly-Fil/Stuffing
• 10mm safety eyes
• Yarn needle for sewing on facial features, pieces together and weaving in ends
