PATTERN STITCH other NOTES – please read thru the ENTIRE PATTERN to ensure you understand the construction and other little bits and bobs of advice scattered throughout 
• Starting at the center of the large square, you’ll work in the round until the square is completed 
• Binding-off two sides, you’ll then knit the “arms”, finishing off the edges 
• Directions are charted and written out
