Constructed in two steps with the first step using only chains and double crochet stitches and the second step using a weaving technique, this beginner friendly pattern will not only keep you toasty, but will always be in style with its classic plaid design and fringe.

Any regular worsted weight yarn can be used with the appropriate crochet hook size for the yarn. You will need three colors to complete the plaid design (320-350 yards of each color). You will also need a large yarn needle and scissors.
