Hieroglyphic Socs
by Jane Burns
Inspired by ancient hieroglyphs, Jane Burns designed these ankle socks with geometric shapes formed from an eyelet lace pattern. Her design is knitted from the top down, and has the stitch pattern on both the front and back leg, as well as the upper foot. She has used a sock yarn from Regia which contains yak fibre for extra softness; this is available in a palette of warm, earthy colours.
