Pattern Notes
Hewar is a mitten inspired by chain mail and Celtic symbolism. These mittens bring together a few different techniques on a small scale. Hewar has a band of Linen stitch with an all-over pattern designed to look like mail with an original cable motif on the hand. The cuff is worked in the opposite direction with a touch of lace to add to the impression of weight of armor.
