Hesselberg is a two colored, long and narrow shawl knitted from tip to tip. The shape is made by increases and decreases and you knit a combination of rib and lace, and a technique I have chosen to call slip-nubs.

Needle size: 4 mm (US 6)

Measurements after blocking:
Width: 55 cm/ 21 inches
Legth: 190 cm/ 74 inches

Gauge:
Ca. 19 sts on 10 cm/4 inches after blocking.

Being a shawl the gauge is not essential for it to fit. Thinner yarn or smaller needles give a slightly smaller shawl. Thicker yarn or larger needles will make a slightly larger shawl.

Yarn:
Oslo Mikrospinneri Osloull (wool and silk) 210 m on 50 g

Yarn quantity:
Main color: 150 g
Contrast color: 100 g

You will also need: Stitch marker and a needle to weave in loose ends.
